Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join a team for a project at a large metallurgical enterprise in Almaty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies and a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of metallurgical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and evaluations on metallurgical products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols to assess product performance and durability.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommendations, and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Stay updated with the latest testing technologies and industry trends to enhance testing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in testing and quality assurance within a metallurgical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and standards relevant to metallurgical products.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with metallurgical testing equipment and techniques (e.g., tensile testing, hardness testing, microstructural analysis).
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
