Sustainable Systems Engineer

HVAC LEED LCA WELL Building Standard

Net-Zero Residential Community project is in search of Sustainable Systems Engineer.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform energy modeling (IES VE/EnergyPlus) for building envelope and HVAC optimization;
  • Conduct whole-building LCA using Tally/One Click LCA with focus on EC3 material selection;
  • Design integrated renewable systems (PV arrays, geothermal, smart glazing);
  • Prepare certification documentation for LEED Platinum, WELL v2, and Living Building Challenge;
  • Perform post-occupancy evaluations to verify design performance.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years in sustainable design with Passivhaus/PHPP experience;
  • Proficiency in climate-responsive design strategies;
  • Grasshopper skills for parametric environmental analysis (preferred);
  • Professional credential (LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP) required.
