Primary Responsibilities

- Spearhead comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for diverse products and systems, meticulously following ISO 14040/14044 standards to quantify environmental impacts from cradle to grave.

- Formulate and develop data-driven corporate decarbonization roadmaps, identifying key levers for emissions reduction and charting a clear path toward net-zero targets.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of circular economy opportunities, designing strategies that minimize waste, enhance resource efficiency, and create new value streams.

- Perform rigorous technical due diligence for investments in emerging cleantech, evaluating the viability, scalability, and potential impact of novel green technologies.

- Manage and execute greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and reporting in alignment with the GHG Protocol, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.

- Champion the research and scouting of emerging sustainable technologies and materials—from next-generation solar to carbon capture—providing critical insights for strategic planning.

- Analyze evolving energy and environmental policies at local, state, and federal levels to inform corporate strategy and identify both risks and opportunities.


Core Qualifications & Competencies

- You possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related technical discipline.

- You have a minimum of five years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, corporate sustainability, or a related renewable energy engineering role.

- Demonstrated mastery of LCA methodology is essential, along with hands-on proficiency in leading LCA software such as SimaPro, GaBi, or equivalent platforms.

- Your analytical toolkit is robust, featuring advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in data analysis using Python or MATLAB for modeling and visualization.

- You have a profound understanding of carbon accounting standards, particularly the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, and experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

- Familiarity with major ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting frameworks—such as GRI, SASB, or TCFD—is highly advantageous.

- Your strategic thinking skills are exceptional; you can translate complex technical data into compelling business cases and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

- You are an outstanding communicator, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts with clarity and confidence to both technical and non-technical audiences.
