Structural Analysis Engineer (FEA)

Remotely
Full-time

This is a senior individual contributor role on a small, focused team - meaning less bureaucracy and more interesting work. You'll need to be self-motivated and a clear communicator on Slack and video calls.

What you'll do:

- Run complex non-linear and dynamic structural analyses from scratch.

- Build and mesh high-fidelity models from tricky geometry.

- Simulate impact and drop events using explicit solvers like LS-DYNA.

- Validate your simulation results against physical test data.

- Guide design engineers on where to add or remove material.

- Write Python scripts to automate repetitive pre- and post-processing tasks.

What we're looking for:

- 5-7+ years of professional structural analysis experience.

- A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.

- Expert-level skill in at least one major FEA package (ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran).

- Hands-on experience with pre-processors like HyperMesh or ANSA.

- Deep knowledge of fatigue, vibrations, and non-linear materials.

- The ability to explain complex results to non-specialists.
