GIS FEA MicroStation LiDAR

Company, that provides rail infrastructure solutions is looking for Senior Track Design engineer.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and optimization of railway track geometry, alignment, and switch systems in compliance with FRA & AREMA standards.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for rail stress distribution and fatigue life prediction.
  • Oversee ballast & subgrade design for heavy-haul corridors, ensuring stability under dynamic loads.
  • Collaborate with PTC (Positive Train Control) teams to integrate signaling infrastructure.
  • Conduct LiDAR & GIS-based terrain modeling for route planning and grade separation projects.


Requirements:

  • PE License (Civil/Transportation) required.
  • 6+ years in trackwork design (Class I railroads preferred).
  • Proficiency in Bentley OpenRail, MicroStation
