Full-time

We are a pioneering research and development organization committed to pushing the boundaries of technology. Our interdisciplinary teams work on groundbreaking projects that transition from theoretical concepts to real-world applications. We foster a culture of intellectual curiosity, continuous learning, and impactful innovation—providing our scientists and engineers with the resources and autonomy to explore truly transformative ideas.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement novel algorithms for robotic perception, including 3D computer vision, advanced sensor fusion (IMU, Lidar, cameras), and robust SLAM solutions.

- Design, simulate, and validate advanced control systems and motion planning strategies for complex, high-degree-of-freedom robotic platforms in dynamic environments.

- Lead original research initiatives from conceptualization through to publication in premier academic conferences and journals (e.g., ICRA, IROS, CoRL, RSS).

- Spearhead the end-to-end process of building and testing proof-of-concept (PoC) prototypes to validate new robot designs, mechatronic systems, and unexplored sensor modalities.

- Drive the intellectual property pipeline by identifying patentable inventions, conducting patent landscaping, and drafting comprehensive technical disclosures and patent applications.

- Contribute to or lead the preparation of compelling grant proposals for funding from government agencies (like NSF, DARPA) and private foundations.

- Collaborate extensively with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of your research into functional and scalable robotic systems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- A Ph.D. or a Master’s degree with an exceptional record of research in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a hands-on robotics research environment—be it within a corporate R&D lab, a leading university, or a high-tech startup.

- A strong portfolio of published research in top-tier robotics or AI conferences and journals is considered a significant asset.

- Exceptional programming proficiency in Python and modern C++ (17/20) for developing performance-critical robotics applications.

- Extensive, hands-on experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) ecosystem and its associated tools for development and diagnostics.

- Deep practical knowledge of at least one major machine learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, applied to robotics problems (e.g., reinforcement learning, computer vision).

- Proficiency with industry-standard simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim) for rapid prototyping and algorithm validation.

- A profound theoretical and applied foundation in advanced mathematics—particularly linear algebra, 3D geometry, calculus, and probability theory.
