Remotely
Full-time

We are a forward-thinking leader in industrial automation, committed to delivering innovative and robust solutions that redefine manufacturing efficiency. Our team is composed of passionate problem-solvers who thrive on tackling complex challenges. By joining us, you become part of a culture that values collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence, where your contributions directly impact the success of our clients across various industries. This position offers flexibility, including opportunities for remote work on design and programming tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and integrate turnkey robotic automation systems, combining multi-axis robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB), PLCs, HMI, vision systems, and conveyance into cohesive workcells.

- Develop and debug robust code for industrial robots and PLCs—such as Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens—to ensure seamless system communication and flawless operation.

- Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and startup activities for complex automation projects, ensuring systems meet and exceed performance and safety specifications.

- Diagnose and resolve intricate electrical, mechanical, and software issues… including the troubleshooting of industrial network protocols like EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.

- Create and deliver comprehensive training programs and documentation for clients' engineering and maintenance teams to ensure a successful system handover and long-term success.

- Manage project timelines and deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Core Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field is required.

- You possess proven experience as a Robotics Integration Engineer, Automation Engineer, or in a closely related role focused on system integration.

- Demonstrable hands-on experience programming and integrating industrial robots (experience with brands like FANUC, ABB, KUKA, or Yaskawa is highly valued).

- Strong proficiency in PLC programming, specifically with platforms like Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) or Siemens (TIA Portal).

- Experience with HMI/SCADA development using software such as FactoryTalk View, WinCC, or Ignition.

- A solid understanding of industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO 10218, RIA 15.06) and the implementation of safety circuits.

- Exceptional systems-level thinking and methodical, hands-on troubleshooting capabilities.

- You must have the ability to travel to client sites for installation, commissioning, and support phases of projects.

Preferred Skills & Technologies

- Professional experience with machine vision system integration (e.g., Cognex Insight, Keyence Vision Systems) for guidance, inspection, or identification.

- Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD software—such as AutoCAD Electrical or SOLIDWORKS—for reviewing system layouts and electrical schematics.

- Knowledge of advanced industrial networking protocols beyond the basics (e.g., DeviceNet, ControlNet, Modbus TCP/IP).

- Experience with robotic simulation software (like RoboDK, Process Simulate, or FANUC ROBOGUIDE) is a significant advantage.

- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
