Robotic Design Engineer

We are seeking a Robotic Design Engineer to lead the conceptualization, design, and development of robotic systems and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, mechatronics, and robotics engineering. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative robotic solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic systems, including manipulators, mobile robots, or automated machinery.
• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Select appropriate actuators, sensors, controllers, and other components for robotic applications.
• Conduct simulations to validate mechanical designs and ensure functionality.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and software developers to integrate hardware and control systems.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
• Prototype and test robotic components or systems; troubleshoot design issues.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
• Stay updated on advancements in robotics technology and incorporate best practices into designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Proven experience in designing robotic systems or automation equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience with prototyping and testing robotic systems is desirable.
