Responsibilities  

- Drive end-to-end technical and commercial oversight for solar, wind, and hybrid assets totaling 500 MW–2 GW.  

- Develop, track, and refine annual P&L budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and long-range NPV models.  

- Scrutinize SCADA, CMMS, and meteorological data to uncover performance gaps; initiate corrective actions that raise capacity factors.  

- Optimize Power Purchase Agreements, land leases, O&M contracts, and warranty provisions—unlock hidden economics while mitigating risk.  

- Coordinate repowering, storage retrofits, and merchant hedging strategies; quantify value with PVSyst, WindPro, and energy-market analytics.  

- Prepare persuasive quarterly dashboards in Power BI/Tableau that translate technical KPIs into investor-ready narratives.  

- Lead warranty and insurance claims; recover lost revenue through evidence-backed negotiations.  

- Interface with ISOs, utilities, and regulatory bodies to secure compliance and revenue accreditation.  

- Mentor site technicians and analysts; propagate best practices across the asset fleet.  

- Collaborate with finance, M&A, and trading teams to inform acquisition diligence and portfolio hedging.


Requirements  

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s or MBA advantageous).  

- 5+ years managing operational renewable assets in the United States.  

- Advanced Excel or Python for financial modeling; competence with PVSyst, WindPro, CMMS, and contract management platforms.  

- Proven command of PPA structures, REC markets, congestion risk, and nodal basis dynamics.  

- Fluency in KPI storytelling—convert GWh, PR, and LCOE into board-level language.  

- Negotiation prowess; demonstrated savings or revenue uplift >3 % of annual gross margin.  

- Strategic thinker comfortable with uncertainty, hedging instruments, and ERCOT/CAISO market signals.  

- Eligibility to work in the U.S.; willingness for periodic travel to project sites (<15 %).


Desired Plus  

- Experience integrating battery storage or hybrid controls.  

- Professional Engineer license or CFA Level I.  

- Familiarity with RTO interconnection studies and curtailment analytics.
