We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer specializing in Industrial Structures and Plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and analysis, with experience in the construction and operation of various industrial facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structural systems for industrial facilities, including warehouses, manufacturing plants, and other related structures.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for structural components.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to integrate structural designs within broader project objectives.
  • Perform site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and assess site conditions to inform design decisions.
  • Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) for structural modeling and analysis.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety practices.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Provide support during the construction phase and communicate effectively with contractors and site management teams.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent credential.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in industrial structures and plants.
  • Proficiency in structural design and analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and safety regulations as they pertain to industrial projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices is a plus.
