Responsibilities

- Develop, validate, and release electrical schematics for new equipment and retrofits.  

- Program, debug, and optimize PLC logic for safety circuits, motion control, and data acquisition.  

- Integrate six-axis robots, AGVs, and smart sensors into automated cells.  

- Diagnose production electrical failures and implement long-term countermeasures.  

- Lead equipment commissioning, power-up, and FAT/SAT documentation.  

- Create preventive maintenance standards for motors, drives, and industrial networks.  

- Train technicians on lockout/tagout, troubleshooting tools, and predictive analytics dashboards.  

- Collaborate with mechanical, quality, and manufacturing engineers to reduce takt time and waste.  

- Apply NFPA 70E, UL, and OSHA codes—ensure every panel meets audit requirements.  

- Track KPIs (MTTR, OEE, energy usage) and present improvement roadmaps to leadership.  


Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.  

- 5+ years designing industrial control systems within automotive, electronics, or heavy manufacturing.  

- Proven mastery of PLC troubleshooting (ladder, structured text) and HMI configuration.  

- Hands-on experience with robot teaching (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) and motor control centers up to 480 V.  

- Strong command of AutoCAD Electrical and E-PLAN; ability to generate one-line and wiring diagrams.  

- Solid foundation in power distribution, short-circuit analysis, and grounding.  

- Lean or Six Sigma green belt (or higher) with measurable cost-savings projects.  

- Clear communication skills—translate complex circuitry into technician-friendly language.  

- Eligible to work in the United States; able to travel 10 % to suppliers or sister plants.  


Preferred Extras

- Exposure to IIoT protocols (MQTT, OPC UA) and edge analytics.  

- Experience writing Python or VBA scripts to speed up BOM creation and revision control.  

- Familiarity with NEC Article 409 panel labeling, CE marking, and global harmonized standards.
