Key Responsibilities  

- Develop interior and exterior lighting concepts aligned with IES best practices and WELL Building guidelines.  

- Execute photometric analyses in AGi32 and DIALux Evo to meet target lux and uniformity ratios.  

- Model luminaires, ceilings, and daylight apertures in Revit for clash-free coordination with architects and MEP teams.  

- Generate single-line diagrams and control risers that integrate 0-10 V, DALI, and PoE networks.  

- Draft sealed lighting layouts, schedules, and specifications ensuring ASHRAE 90.1 and Title 24 compliance.  

- Optimize energy density and daylight harvesting strategies to support LEED and Living Building Challenge certifications.  

- Present design narratives to stakeholders; adjust schemes based on occupant feedback and mock-up results.  


Requirements  

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.  

- 4+ years delivering commercial or institutional lighting projects in the U.S. market.  

- Proficiency with AGi32, DIALux Evo, Revit, and AutoCAD.  

- Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, IECC, and relevant state energy codes.  

- Ability to interpret photometric reports and manufacturer IES files.  

- Fluent in MS Excel for load summaries and lighting power density calculations.  

- Clear written and verbal communication—able to translate technical data into actionable recommendations.  


Preferred Qualifications  

- LC or LEED AP accreditation (or in progress).  

- Familiarity with DMX, KNX, or BACnet for advanced control integration.  

- Experience applying human-centric lighting metrics (CCT tuning, melanopic lux).  

- Prior involvement in net-zero or carbon-neutral building programs.
