By fostering a culture of ingenuity and collaboration, we empower our engineers to tackle complex challenges and deliver solutions that redefine market standards. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex electronic hardware systems, from architectural concept to production-ready schematics.
- Execute the design of high-density, multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs), meticulously ensuring signal and power integrity for high-speed applications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including detailed circuit schematics and design specifications.
- Oversee the entire PCB fabrication and assembly process, collaborating with external vendors and applying robust Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Perform strategic component selection (evaluating microcontrollers, FPGAs, and power components) for optimal performance, cost, and supply chain stability.
- Direct the hands-on bring-up, rigorous testing, and systematic debugging of hardware prototypes, utilizing oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Ensure product compliance by conducting and managing pre-compliance testing for electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Validate and refine circuit performance before prototyping through advanced system modeling and SPICE simulations.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience as a Hardware Engineer, with a strong focus on electronics product development and PCB design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with at least one major EDA tool suite, such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, or KiCad.
- Deep, practical knowledge of both digital and analog circuit design, including experience with power management ICs, data converters, and high-speed interfaces.
- Proven experience managing the full PCB design lifecycle: from initial schematic capture and component library management through layout, fabrication, and final assembly.
- Strong hands-on skills in a lab environment for hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation. You are comfortable with a soldering iron and an oscilloscope.
- A solid understanding of advanced design principles, including signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and effective EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Direct experience designing hardware for highly regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, aerospace/defense) with strict compliance requirements.
- A comprehensive portfolio that showcases complex, multi-layer PCB design projects and successfully launched products.
- You possess an inquisitive and tenacious problem-solving mindset, capable of dissecting ambiguous issues and engineering elegant, reliable solutions.
- Familiarity with microcontroller firmware development (C/C++) or FPGA design using VHDL or Verilog would be a significant advantage.
