Key Responsibilities

- Spearhead the end-to-end design and development of sophisticated electronic hardware systems, from initial concept to mass production.

- Generate and maintain detailed circuit schematics and comprehensive design documentation using premier EDA tools like Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro.

- Architect complex, high-speed, multi-layer printed circuit boards, ensuring optimal signal and power integrity for peak performance.

- Manage the entire PCB layout process—from component placement and routing to generating final fabrication files—while collaborating closely with layout designers.

- Conduct rigorous component selection and evaluation (including microcontrollers, FPGAs, and power management ICs) to meet performance, cost, and availability targets.

- Collaborate with external vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

- Lead the crucial board bring-up, debugging, and validation phases for new hardware prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other advanced test equipment.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to guarantee product compliance with rigorous EMI/EMC, FCC, and other relevant international regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

- You possess a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in a role such as a Hardware Engineer, Electronics Engineer, or PCB Designer.

- Demonstrated proficiency with at least one major EDA tool suite, such as *Altium Designer*, *Cadence Allegro/OrCAD*, or a similar platform.

- In-depth knowledge of both digital and analog circuit design, including experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR, PCIe, USB) and mixed-signal systems.

- You have proven experience in multi-layer PCB layout with a strong, practical understanding of signal integrity, power integrity (PI), and thermal management techniques.

- Extensive hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, systematic debugging, and design validation using standard laboratory equipment is essential.

- Familiarity with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) for pre-layout analysis and performance verification.

- Experience with microcontroller (MCU) and/or FPGA (VHDL/Verilog) integration and their associated programming environments is highly desirable.

- A solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles to ensure a smooth transition from prototype to production.
