Electronics Design Engineer – Advanced Circuit Development
You design, simulate, and refine complex boards… then guide them through manufacturing without a hitch. You collaborate with firmware and mechanical peers, yet independently drive technical decisions. Quality and safety regulations do not intimidate you; they motivate you.
Key Responsibilities
– Craft schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer or Cadence.
– Select components balancing performance, availability, and cost.
– Run SPICE, signal-integrity, and thermal simulations to de-risk designs.
– Build and debug prototypes with oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and spectrum analyzer.
– Author concise test plans; execute validation and root-cause failures fast.
– Generate clear BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and compliance documentation (UL, FCC, CE).
– Liaise with contract manufacturers, ensuring DFM/DFT best practices.
– Present design reviews to stakeholders and mentor junior engineers.
– Track project milestones with agile project management tools.
Required Skills & Experience
– Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
– 5+ years designing mixed-signal boards at 1 GHz+ or 100 W+.
– Mastery of Altium Designer/Cadence and version control workflows (Git).
– Fluent in analog theory, high-speed digital design, power regulation, and EMC.
– Hands-on with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and solder rework.
– Solid Python or C/C++ for test automation and embedded bring-up.
– Clear, persuasive English communication—written and verbal.
– Comfortable leading projects in distributed, multicultural teams.
Preferred Extras
– Experience with aerospace-grade reliability (DO-254, MIL-STD-461).
– Knowledge of battery management, renewable energy converters, or mmWave RF.
– Familiarity with MATLAB for data analysis and model-based design.
