Key Responsibilities  

- Create detailed one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts for low- and medium-voltage distributions.  

- Integrate electronics, sensors, VFDs, and actuators into PLC-based control architectures.  

- Size conductors, breakers, PDUs, and grounding networks for manufacturing lines, data centers, and renewable assets.  

- Perform load flow, short-circuit, and coordination studies to optimize power quality and system resilience.  

- Validate designs against NEC, NFPA 70E, UL, and relevant IEC standards.  

- Develop PLC logic (Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI screens; test via hardware-in-the-loop simulations.  

- Lead remote and on-site commissioning, troubleshooting faults with multimeters and power analyzers until root causes vanish.  

- Generate concise technical reports, maintenance guides, and as-built documentation.  

- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with mechanical, civil, and software counterparts.  

- Champion safety reviews and continuous improvement initiatives across global project teams.  


Core Qualifications  

- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.  

- 5+ years designing facility electrical or automation systems.  

- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and at least one of: EPLAN, Revit, ETAP, SKM.  

- Demonstrated PLC programming skills; familiarity with structured text and ladder logic.  

- Solid grasp of power distribution, short-circuit analysis, and motor control theory.  

- Ability to interpret P&IDs, instrumentation specs, and control narratives.  

- Strong written and verbal communication that bridges engineers and non-technical stakeholders.  


Preferred Extras  

- PE license or eligibility.  

- Experience supporting battery storage, microgrids, or solar inverters.  

- MATLAB/Simulink modeling for transient studies.  

- Knowledge of cybersecurity for industrial control systems.
