Full-time

Join a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team dedicated to engineering excellence and innovation. Our projects span the A/E consulting, advanced manufacturing, and system integration sectors, offering you exposure to a diverse and challenging portfolio that will consistently push you to grow. We foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning a place where your expertise is valued and your professional development is a priority.

The Impact You'll Make

- Spearhead the comprehensive design of electrical systems—including power distribution, interior/exterior lighting, and critical life safety systems—for a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

- Meticulously create and revise detailed electrical plans, schematics, single-line diagrams, and control system drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, or SolidWorks Electrical.

- Perform essential design calculations, such as load calculations, voltage drop, and short-circuit analysis, to ensure system integrity and performance.

- Develop and manage panelboard schedules and riser diagrams, ensuring clarity and accuracy for construction and maintenance teams.

- Select appropriate electrical components, equipment, and materials, culminating in the creation of precise Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications.

- Champion code compliance by rigorously applying the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant federal, state, and local building codes (e.g., NFPA, IECC) to all designs.

- Engage in proactive coordination with multidisciplinary teams—including mechanical, structural, and civil engineers, as well as architects—to deliver integrated and clash-free project designs.

- Provide technical support during the construction phase, which may involve reviewing contractor submittals and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).

What You Bring to the Table

- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a closely related technical degree from an accredited institution.

- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in electrical design, specifically for building systems or integrated industrial products.

- Demonstrated mastery of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and a strong, practical understanding of its application in diverse scenarios.

- High proficiency in 2D and 3D electrical design software, specifically AutoCAD Electrical and Revit MEP; experience with SolidWorks Electrical is a significant advantage.

- Proven ability to develop complete sets of construction documents, from initial schematics to final as-built drawings.

- Experience in lighting design and the use of photometric analysis software (like AGI32 or DIALux) is highly desirable.

- A Professional Engineer (PE) license, or progress towards obtaining one (EIT), is a considerable asset but not mandatory.

Core Competencies

- Analytical Mindset: You possess an exceptional ability to analyze complex electrical problems and devise effective, code-compliant solutions.

- Attention to Detail: Your work is precise and thorough. You understand that in engineering, the small details have a major impact on safety and functionality.

- Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in a team environment, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Self-Motivation: You can manage your time and projects effectively, especially in a hybrid or fully remote work setting, meeting deadlines without constant supervision.
