BIM Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines from concept through handover.
- Run clash detection in Navisworks Manage, generate coordination reports, and lead resolution workshops with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate 4D scheduling and 5D cost data, producing visual simulations that drive on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Enforce BIM execution plans and in-house standards; audit models to maintain data integrity and LOD requirements.
- Convert point-cloud scans into precise Revit geometry (Scan-to-BIM) and align with existing facility databases.
- Collaborate with project managers, VDC engineers, and field crews to streamline constructability reviews.
- Research emerging tools—Autodesk Construction Cloud, Solibri, Synchro—and recommend workflow optimizations.
Required Skills
- Expert-level Revit proficiency, including families, worksets, and Dynamo scripting.
- Proven competence in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and quantification.
- Solid grasp of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP documents.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and communication finesse for multidisciplinary settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Experience
- Two or more large-scale commercial or healthcare projects delivered through BIM.
- Knowledge of IFC standards, COBie data drops, and ISO 19650 workflows.
- Familiarity with drone photogrammetry or LiDAR scanning.
- Exposure to facility management platforms integrating asset data.
