Skills: — Knowledge of shop fabrication methods. — Familiar with types of piping, valving and coupling hardware. — Reading mechanical and PI&D drawings. — Designing mechanical parts and creating drawings per GD&T in SolidWorks. — Able to manage CAD environment and create job specific CAD standards. Able to set up for work and solve problems with SolidWorks, set up drawing templates, sheet formats, customize Toolbox, Routing library, Bill of Materials and Design Checker to specific needs. — Able to create design intended parts, assemblies, drawings in SolidWorks. — Able to fix emerging issues with imported files in other CAD formats. — Able to create solid, surface, sheet metal and weldment parts in SolidWorks. — Knowledge of SolidWorks Routing and routing library management. — Certified SolidWorks Professional – Mechanical Design (CSWP).
