Project 1: Development of an Electromagnetic-Thermal Design Optimization Software for Permanent Magnet Motors in Electric Vehicle Applications. ● Development of Computational Efficient Finite Element Method (CEFEM). ● Development of Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) approach. ● Analysis of motor in wide range of torque – speed curve. ● Design and manufacturing of 80kW IPM motor for E-Bus application using this software. Project 2: Development of an Integrated FEM-Coupled Optimization Software for Design of Large Synchronous Generators. ● Coupling of analytical models in MATLAB software with the FEM software (Ansys Electronics Desktop). ● Development of optimization method based on K-means sampling and Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS). ● Design and manufacturing of 25MW, 50MW, 120 MW, 200 MW and 250 MW generators using this software. Project 3: Development of a Design Optimization Software for High Voltage and High Power Induction Motors for Industrial Applications. ● Design of IMs in power range of 2-14 MW and voltage range of 3-11 kV. ● Design of IMs based on modular design concept.
