● Assist in site inspection and closed monitoring the on going work to insure the equipment and materials are approved by SAUDI ARAMCO materials specification standard (SAMSS).
● Receiving inspection on CP materials like Rectifier, HSCI Anode and accessories, Terminal Junction boxes, CP cables; as per delivery notice, material data sheets, packing list, outbound, inspection release, NMR, MTC.
● Prepare, keep and maintain the reqiured documentation related to QA/QC materials delivered on site to confirm with the approved and conformance to ifc drawings and project specification with SAES.
● Inspect the point of exothermic weld to ensure that proper removing of pipe coating is applied prior to exothermic welding.
● Inspect the connection strenght by lightly tapping top of weld by one bound hammer. If weld fail and must be repeated.
● Inspect the installation of three pin test station & the correct termination of positive and negative lead wires.
● Conduct monthly galvanic CP circuit potential survey to ensure adequate protection of the pipe.
● Witness inspection of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection installation for the well casings.
● Ensure that HSCI TA-5A anode lead wires length are correct as per the CSD recommendation prior to material receiving inspection.
● Witness of holiday detection test of anode cables prior to Deep Anode Bed loading.
● Witness of Deep Anode Bed loading/installation & ensuring anode spacings are as per CSD recommendation and the anode resistance readings before and after coke breeze had been taken.
● ICCP cable laying visual inspection to ensure negative CP cables has no insulation defects prior to backfilling.
● Raising RFI to PID & PMT for all completed installation works on site according to SATIP thru QMIS.
● Review Approved project specification and strongly implement of the project as per quality plan requirements.
● Responsible for Material Receiving Inspection for Electrical materials in compliance to the project specifications and applicable standards, and check for physical damages and correct data sheets, and follow the approved procedure for storage and preservation prior to the start of material receiving activities, and refer the Specification and national standard NEC/IEC.
● Conduct daily surveillance on site and make to ensure all work/activities are executed correctly as per the project requirements.
● Responsible to attend all request for Inspection (RFI) on time issued by construction team for the acceptance or rejection of the particular scope of works as stated in the RFI description and IFC Drawing attached.
● Interfaces with the client, construction team, QC Inspectors and other construction discipline regarding on technical and quality aspect, particularly in sub-station, i.e. Electrical Equipment layout MV & LV Switchgear, LV Motor Control Center, Variable Frequency Drive, High Voltage Cable Bus 34.5/13.8/0.480KV, Base on approved IFC drawing Specification and national standard (NFPA-70,NEC-110).
● Conduct surveillance inspection & checked to the approved IFC drawing and Specification of Non Hazardous and Hazardous area and severe corrosive area which is stated in NFPA 497/499 and NEC-article 501 and SAES-B-068 as per Saudi Aramco Project requirements.
● Coordinate with the Engineering and Design Department Regarding on the technical issue such as: Site query, latest revision of design and drawings, and the necessary remedy for the closure of site quality observation, Non-conformance report and quality deficiency report.
● Witness pre-commissioning/ completion package for all Electrical equipment test results document.
● Observed, Follow and Implement Health, Safety and Environment Guidelines in the project site.
