● I worked on an energy audit project for Devonshire Public School from January to April 2025. The goal was to assess and improve the building's energy performance, particularly focusing on outdated HVAC and BAS systems. ● I conducted a preventive audit, identifying inefficiencies in the legacy equipment. Using RETScreen, I built a detailed energy model to simulate performance and estimate potential savings from various retrofits. One key proposal was replacing the existing air handling unit with a high-efficiency model and optimizing the building automation system’s control strategies. ● Our recommendations showed an annual savings potential of over 59,500 kWh of electricity and 632 MMBtu of natural gas. The solutions we proposed had a payback period of under two years, making them both energy- and cost-effective. We also delivered tailored energy conservation measures and documentation for future implementation by the school board. ● This project gave me practical experience in energy modeling, audit methodology, and client-focused reporting — all essential skills for a role in sustainability or building performance.

Building Automation Scope Implementation Lab Project. ● Programmed and commissioned ALC controllers for HVAC, lighting, and alarms using BACnet. ● Performed diagnostics and alarm logic, integrating FCUs, VAVs, pumps, and exhaust fans. ● Created commissioning reports, control diagrams, and SOPs for system operation and turnover. ● Configured alarm handling, safety interlocks, and control logic using BACnet protocol for real-time monitoring and diagnostics.

● Installed and maintained automation systems on production lines with minimal supervision. ● Conducted system-level troubleshooting and diagnostics of energy and control systems ● Supplied documentation, PFMEA, and energy audits to recommend automation upgrades.
