● As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia soars towards Vision 2030, WSP is working with Riyadh Airport Company (RAC) to enhance Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), the international gateway to Saudi Arabia's capital and a pivotal part of making the kingdom a global transportation and logistics hub.
● As a construction management consultant, WSP is committed to delivering RAC's vision for KKIA while ensuring that the airport remains operational throughout the Project. Our scope of work includes providing quality construction management services to upgrade and expand numerous parts of the airport. Therefore, our team focuses on delivering a pipeline of projects within the agreed timelines and budgets and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Under my role as the Project Control Director for the Riyadh Airport Projects, I also have responsibilities related to managing the planning, commercial, and document control teams within my department. These responsibilities encompassed:
● Collaboration with Project Director: worked closely with the project director to monitor the Project's schedule and cost performance compared to the original plan. This collaboration involved regular communication, reporting on project status, and addressing any areas of concern or potential improvements.

● The Jeddah Municipality stormwater program was initiated to respond to the longstanding and recurrent flooding issue in Jeddah, the second-largest city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Flooding had been a significant challenge to the town due to its unique geographical location, proximity to the Red Sea, and flat topography. Intense rainfall events, particularly during the annual monsoon season, often resulted in flash floods that caused extensive damage to infrastructure and posed risks to public safety.
● The Jeddah Municipality stormwater program represented a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to addressing the longstanding issue of flooding in the city. By implementing an integrated rainwater and stormwater drainage system, the program aimed to minimize the risk of flooding, protect critical infrastructure, and enhance the overall resilience of Jeddah's urban environment.

Planning and Cost Control:
● Developing the Project Schedule, outlining the sequence of activities, their duration, and interdependencies. The plan served as a roadmap for the Project's execution, ensuring that activities were adequately sequenced and coordinated.
● Closely monitored the progress of the stormwater program by tracking the Completion of project activities against the established schedule. This involved regularly reviewing project status, identifying delays or deviations, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
