Mechanical Engineer

We're in lookiout for a Mechanical Engineer for projects in Transportation Systems industry. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems for next-generation transportation solutions, including electric vehicles (EVs), rail systems, and autonomous mobility platforms. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in transit infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

• Design vehicle chassis, suspension systems, or rail components using CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Optimize lightweight materials (e.g., aluminum, composites) for fuel efficiency/range.
• Develop battery enclosures for EVs or hydrogen storage systems.

Simulation & Testing:

• Perform FEA/CFD analysis (ANSYS, LS-DYNA) for structural integrity and aerodynamics.
• Conduct vibration/shock testing for durability in transit environments.

Systems Integration:

• Collaborate with electrical engineers on powertrain integration (motors, gearboxes).
• Ensure compliance with FMVSS, APTA, or FTA regulations.

Manufacturing Support:

• Work with suppliers to prototype and validate components.
• Implement DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years in transportation, automotive, or rail industries.
• Proficiency in:
• CAD/CAE tools: SolidWorks, CATIA, ANSYS.
